Welcome to the Spirit of '76 crew, family and friends website. The focus of the website is the organization and coordination of such fun pursuits as racing, sailing, BBQ's with Dark & Stormies, more sailing, fixing things that are broken, etc. (Winning races may work its way into the agenda from time to time at some point in the future).
The Sunset series has gone off to a rocky start for us this year, but we have had most of our loyal crew from last year join in at least once and we have had fun. I hope to get some quality instruction (or at least some new speed thoughts) in the near future. To that end I would like to pick a weeknight to just go out and see what numbers we can post and try out a few sail trim combinations. Let me know when you are free. I am thinking Wednesday night.
